Since I started working remotely in 2020, I’ve noticed big changes in the job market. After watching the video Why the Job Market Is Changing Faster Than Ever, it’s clear that things are shifting even more.

The video talks about how these changes affect both workers and employers, and it explains some important economic trends that are shaping the future.

Here’s my take on it.

Back in 2022, workers had more power. There weren’t enough people to fill jobs, so companies offered better pay and flexible work options to attract employees. Remote work became very common.

But now, in 2024, things are different. Employers are starting to take back control, and many are pushing for people to return to the office.

This brings up an important question: will remote work start to disappear? Many of us have gotten used to working from home, but if companies want employees back in the office, we might lose that flexibility.
